Street Performers - cool!

This guy did some robotic move to make his way to Taylor's shoulder - I'm sure it's also an excuse to change positions.

The break dancer was paying tribute to guess who? He was incredible and it was worth 1 pound to watch!

Big Ben, Big Lisa & _ _ _ Haley

What a cool experience to see London from way up high! We were lucky to be on the tram with people that were afraid of heights because we had the windows almost all to ourselves. We have the 80 pictures to prove it too.

What bridge are we on?

We were approaching this bridge and we all got so excited because this ... is the Harry Potter bridge! We were quoting the movie and acting like nerds. This picture was taken right after we realized this was not the Harry Potter bridge - we shifted from cool nerds to lame dorks pretty quickly.

The tip of Big Ben

Finally a family photo - proof that we are all actually here together! You can kind of see Big Ben behind Haley. This was such a fun day...we saw some crazy street performers and went on the London Eye (that huge ferris wheel).

Boat ride on the Serpentine Lake

Kerry gladly went jogging to allow room in the paddle boat for the kids and me! We are on the Serpentine Lake (man made around 1730 - cool!) It looks like we are having a glorious time, but in reality the kids were fighting about whose turn it was to paddle and getting after each other for going the wrong direction. I'm surprised the boat police didn't arrest us for changing positions multiple times. It really was fun in the end, but a picture doesn't always portray the stark reality.

Taylor and Emma at Trafalgar Square

This is Taylor and Emmy at Trafalgar Square. This is the day that Emmy seemed to come alive and develop a better attitude about being in London. Up until then, she kept saying to Kerry "You made a bad choice bringing us here."

The biggest shock for her was getting used to our tiny apartment at the top of four flights of stairs.

Palace Court - that's our street!

Our first shopping trip after arriving. Had to hike through the height of the Notting Hill carnival. I think we were more of a spectacle than the painted party-goers. (The students arrive on Wednesday.)
